L'ouvrage est issu du symposium qui s’est tenu les 17 et 18 juin 2011 à la Sorbonne Nouvelle (Université Paris III) et à la Fondation Simone et Cino Del Duca de l’Institut de France. Il est dédié à la mémoire de Naomi Wulf (1964-2012) qui a aidé à son financement et participé à ses travaux.
